![]() In a natural amphitheatre on sacred ground in the rainforest, Seven Pillars of Wisdom (Compassion, Respect, Forgiveness, Good Judgement, Kindness, Learning, Faithfulness, and Positivity) were lovingly constructed of bamboo and lantern paper, and illuminated from within by hundreds of candles. These incredible presences, nine metres high, formed a circle around a central bonfire, and were in turn was surrounded by a huge circle of 400 dancers at the climax of the ceremony. For an audience of close to 20,000 people, we invoked the qualities of the Pillars of Wisdom by dancing the Macedonian Rom Jeni Jol and the Alevy Semah, forming seven spirals between the pillars, returning to one circle at the end.
